“The Best And Quickest Way To Hire A Great Employee”
Have you ever gone through the process of hiring an employee? Isn’t it fun? Want to shorten that process to a couple of phone calls?
Here is an idea that I overheard at the Workshop I went to (remember, these are mostly owners of highly successful companies. I was a fly on the wall).
Go to the want ads in your biggest paper. Get a paper that is a couple of weeks old. Call the company that is running an ad just like you would run. Ask for the names of the top four applicants that they didn’t hire.
What you’ll get are just the most qualified people for the job.
Why would the company help you? Because they are now helping the applicant find a job. It keeps the non-hires from calling them every day asking if they have an opening. Personally, I thought it was genius. Call a couple of companies and you’ll get all the qualified people you can use. |
