I’m sure that’s true.
But people do regret; Not providing well for their family. Not living up to their potential. Not contributing to society Not making every moment count. Letting people down who count on you Not taking any chances
I’m 55 years old. For most of my adult life I made a good living selling. But I never really built anything. That saddens me at times.
Did you know that the average age a person actually starts saving & investing for their retirement is 53 years old? Yup. You begin to see the finish line.
Some people can’t wait to take off their shoes and relax when they retire. There is nothing wrong with that, and I’m not here to change anyone’s mind.
The great actor Peter Ustinov, in his final year, was asked what he had learned during his incredible life.
He said “The last five years are a sprint”.
