Most ad writers are 25 to 35. They use examples, models, and catch phrases that appeal to a younger crowd.

In your ads, if you use models, use at least one that is middle aged or older. Frankly, when I see an ad for a product...and I see a 23 year old model using it, I think “What’s that got to do with me?”
We (at the Sweeper Store) point our ads to the older set. They tend to buy more from independent retailers anyway. |
