“The Biggest Secret In Making Small Business Online Advertising (For Your Retail Store) Pay”

You have a website, right?
If you don’t, you an get one to promote your retail store, or small business for just $5 a month at www.godaddy.com.

Anyway, I’m going to tell you the most profitable thing I do to promote my store website. We actually do about 40 separate things to promote our store online. I’m going to give you the thing that creates the most profit.

When you submit your website to the search engines (www.google.com & www.yahoo.com are the two biggest), you input key words.

And when you promote with “Pay Per Click” (on either search engine) for your local area, you only pay for the times someone clicks on your website.

Anyway, the key is Specificity. Be as specific in your key words as possible. This is more important in the Pay Per Click searches.

For example, we sell vacuum cleaner bags online.
But when people are searching for vacuum cleaner bags, they usually don’t just type in “vacuum cleaner bags”...they type in “Electrolux bags”..or even “Electrolux upright bags”.
It’s possible their search will miss you completely.

But if you include the brands you sell & service, the different products you sell, and repeat these words a few times..on your front page of your website….the search engines will pick these words up, and a local search for “Dirt Devil filters” will bring up your website...for free…….probably as the first website listed.

Now as for “Pay Per Click”.

The first listings on any search online are paid listings. The people listing these little ads are paying every time someone clicks on their ad to see their website.

Just go to www.google.com and do a search for any product. The first 3 ads are paid for, and the ads running down the right side of the page are also paid for. The rankings in the listings are determined (primarily) by the amount you are willing to pay the search engine for the “click”.

Here is a typical ad you would see for vacuum cleaner bags;

Vacuum cleaner bags. Great prices. Fast shipping. www.vacuumguy.com

Here’’s a better one;

“Dirt Devil U style bags. 36 for $39.95 Same day shipping. www.better vacguy.com

Why is this second ad better? Two reasons.
It targets the exact product wanted. If you sell vacuum cleaner bags, but not Dirt Devil U style bags, you have wasted a click, and still paid for it.
The price is in the ad! That’s the most profitable part of this. If you are paying for the clicks (locally or nationally), you want the people who click on your ad to buy. If they aren’t willing to pay your price...or get the quantity stated...they won’’t click on the ad.

This virtually guarantees that your Pay Per Click ads are profitable. On our sites, we have key words for virtually every single product we sell.

This isn’t hard to set up at all. Just go to the Yahoo and Google home pages, and they will walk you through setting up an account.

If you don’t want to use Pay Per Click ads, you can just list your website.

Here’s another tip;

There are common misspellings.
We also list  the common misspellings in the pay per click searches. Our cost is very low, because there is so little competition.

This whole process may take an hour to set up, but after you do, it takes almost no time to maintain the listings.
